There are three basic ways to secure your future.
1. GUIDE YOUR MOUTH AND HEART
Wisdom is what makes stars in every field of endeavour. Every increase is a function of wisdom. Therefore, you need wisdom in the use of your mouth and you need to guide your heart. Yes! You need wisdom in the use of your mouth. Do you know that the way some people talk, no matter how hard they work, they can’t succeed? Many sow seeds of failure with their mouth. This accounts for why their results are not what they expected at the end of the day.
Even the holy book says
A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth. From the produce of his lips he shall be filled. - Proverbs 18:20
Friends, what you say is as important as what God says in the school of success. This is because God is as committed to what you say as He is to what He says. No wonder the bible says
Who confirms the word of His servant, and performs the counsel of His messengers… Isaiah 44: 26 … He shall have whatsoever he saith. Mark 11: 23
Therefore, wisdom demands that you learn how to speak correctly; otherwise, you will work and never see results. Remember, all your inputs in life find conclusion in the mouth; whether they bring results or destroy what you have done. Stop saying what will destroy your success. Stop saying what will not take you to your desire future.
For instance, some students would even tell their friends, “man I have failed” after an exam. What a negative confession! By making such statement, you are now the examiner, which you are not. So how do you know that you have failed? I know you will quickly tell me because you performed badly. Who told you that? Let the examiner say it and this is only possible when the results are released. So, be wise!
2. TRUSTING GOD
Above every other thing is to trust God. He is the only one that can bring you to a place of success and guarantee your future. The bible says in Proverbs chapter 21 verse 31
“The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of The LORD.”
It is one thing to think that you are a superstar or brilliant, but you cannot safely arrive without the help of God. This is the more reason you should commit your ways before Him. He cannot fail and He will not fail! It is true that you are set for the battle, but victory is of the Lord. Even your ability can fail you. God is the only one that cannot fail you. It is well!
I like to tell you that from my research, I discovered that most great scientists and geniuses were bible-believing and God-trusting personalities. So you cannot be left out. That was the secret behind their successes and greatness. I must say to you at this point that all my successes in life, both in exams and otherwise were all fully from God. I have never removed my eyes from Him. He is my source of strength and inspiration day in and day out. You see what I mean!
Beloved, once you learn how to trust God then your battle is over and the topmost top is your destination. Remember that He alone has the power and what it takes to bring you to the very peak of your success and your desired future.
3. WALKING IN YOUR BELIEVE
Lastly, you got to learn to walk in the consciousness of your future. I have always said, that the future you don’t see, you can’t have. Until you see it, act it, you cannot become it! Others may mock you! Yes! They cannot see what you are seeing. It is ok! After all, it is not their future but yours. In the same manner, start working in the consciousness of your success. This is the way to take possession of your success and secure your performance. You shall not miss it.
Call those things that are not as though they were. This is even the way God acts. Hear this!
“As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Romans 4:17″
He has promised you a bright future! Walk in this terrain! Walk in the consciousness of your enviable future. See yourself there! This is the way the world’s greatest think! It is your season of celebrated heights. God bless you and keep you safe!
